ISWK Cambridge International recognises its young student leaders
The young council members, including captains, advisors, prefects and class representatives were conferred with their badges during the investiture ceremony
MUSCAT: Amongst much joy and fanfare, ISWK Cambridge International (ISWKi) held its investiture ceremony on May 25 to felicitate the newly appointed Student Council for the academic year 2023-2024.
The event commenced with a warm welcome being accorded to the chief guest, Majid bin Saeed Al-Bahri, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
After a prayer presented by the gifted school choir, the newly elected members of the student council were ready to be conferred with their responsibilities for the new academic year. The council was chosen by the students of the school, after an exciting week of campaigning, which concluded with elections.
The young council members, including captains, advisors, prefects and class representatives were conferred with their badges by the chief guest and members of the school managing committee. Each of the learners took the oath and pledged to discharge their responsibilities with utmost dedication and commitment.
The oath was ratified by the Head Girl Bhumika Jagtiani, Head Boy Krish Kamath, and the dignitaries.
The chief guest congratulated the office bearers and urged them to perform their duties with passion and diligence.
The event concluded with a sparkling dance performance by the talented dance group, followed by an inspiring vote of thanks proposed by the newly elected head girl and head boy.
