DG NAB Sukkur ad­dressed sem­i­nar on aware­ness against cor­rup­tion

SUKKUR: Di­rec­tor Gen­eral NAB Sukkur Mirza Mo­ham­mad Irfan Baig said that cor­rup­tion rates in Pak­istan are get­ting re­duced and the sit­u­a­tion is bet­ter than last ten years. They ex­pressed their views on the Paras pub­lic School Kandi­yaro. DG NAB Sukkur em­pha­sized that teach­ers and stu­dents can play an im­por­tant role in cre­at­ing men­tal­ity and aware­ness against cor­rup­tion. DG NAB Sukkur added that the Na­tional Ac­count­abil­ity Bu­reau is work­ing fast for stop cor­rup­tion. He said that cor­rup­tion is not a task of any in­di­vid­ual, com­mit­tee or or­ga­ni­za­tion, but it is the com­mon duty of ev­ery­one. DG NAB Sukkur fur­ther said that un­usual use of op­tions and dis­cour­ag­ing cor­rup­tion works only when peo­ple do not tol­er­ate cor­rup­tion and raise aware­ness against them. In the sem­i­nar Teach­ers, Stu­dents, Civil So­ci­ety and Me­dia per­sons were also Par­tic­i­pated.
