NAB work­ing as in­de­pen­dent in­sti­tu­tion

IS­LAM­ABAD: Min­is­ter of State for Par­lia­men­tary Af­fairs Ali Muham­mad Khan has said that the process of across the board ac­count­abil­ity would con­tinue in the coun­try.

Talk­ing to a pri­vate news chan­nel, he said Na­tional Ac­count­abil­ity Bureau is an in­de­pen­dent in­sti­tu­tion and gov­ern­ment has noth­ing to do with its of­fi­cial mat­ters.

He said the present Chair­man NAB was nom­i­nated and ap­pointed by pre­vi­ous PML-N gov­ern­ment. He said all cases and ref­er­ences against Sharif fam­ily and Pak­istan Peo­ples Party lead­er­ship were started in the ten­ure of pre­vi­ous gov­ern­ment.
