Newly-elected SUTA body calls on VC-SU, stresses shared ef­fort for aca­demic up­lift of the var­sity

JAMSHORO: The newly-elected del­e­ga­tion of Sindh Univer­sity Teach­ers’ As­so­ci­a­tion (SUTA) called in cour­tesy on VC-SU Prof. Dr. Fateh Muham­mad Bur­fat. The del­e­ga­tion was led by SUTAPres­i­dent Prof. Dr. Nek Muham­mad Shaikh and SUTA Sec­re­tary Prof. Dr. Ar­fana Begum Mal­lah; whereas it com­prised all of­fi­cer bear­ers in­clud­ing mem­bers of the ex­ec­u­tive coun­cil from across all SU ad­di­tional cam­puses and teach­ing fac­ul­ties.

Wel­com­ing the fresh SUTA cab­i­net, Dr. Bur­fat fe­lic­i­tated all of them upon their im­pres­sive win and ex­pressed the hope that the new body will hold the in­ter­ests of the Alma Mater supreme to all other con­sid­er­a­tions.

Pres­i­dent SUTA, Sec­re­tary and other of­fice bear­ers as­sured the vice chan­cel­lor of their best and max­i­mum co­op­er­a­tion to­wards im­prov­ing aca­demic, re­search, ad­min­is­tra­tive and pro­fes­sional stan­dards of the var­sity.

The newly-elected SUTA body also shared a few gen­uine problems the teach­ers faced; in re­sponse to which the vice chan­cel­lor said all gen­uine problems of the teach­ers would be re­solved on pri­or­ity ba­sis. The meet­ing was held amid highly pleas­ant at­mos­phere.
