Two kidnapped brothers released
SHIKARPUR: Two real brothers were kidnapped and released after tremendous efforts made by their relatives and claimed by Shikarpur police.
According to reports, two real brothers identified as Abdul Wahid and Muhammad Qasim by caste Bhayo were present at their agriculture land situated outside village Bhirkan in the precinct of Chak Police Station when a few armed assailants kidnapped them at gunpoint and took them away. Following on the information the heirs of kidnapped brothers and police took tremendous efforts to find out the hideouts of the kidnappers, finally, Shikarpur police claimed to have released both the kidnapped brothers from the katch area of Shikarpur.
When this scribe contacted SSP Shikarpur Sajjid Ameer Saddozai, he confirmed the recovery of both kidnapped brothers and did not claim any encounter but said that when kidnappers saw heavy contingent police were coming towards us they fled leaving behind kidnapped brothers.
In respect of further two kidnappees he said that Hanif Brohi was missing, while police is busy to trace out the location of Asghar Ali aka Suhno of 14 years, while he was optimistic regarding the recovery of Asghar Ali Napar.
It is noteworthy that Hanif Brohi, of 30, was allegedly kidnapped by few armed assailants when he was busy releasing water into his Agricultural land outside his village Naik Muhammad and a 14year-old boy identified as Asghar aka Suhino by caste Napar was allegedly kidnapped at link road of village Boja Napar when he along with his father named Mumtaz Ali was heading to his village Boja Napar after sealing “Milk” from Shikarpur while kidnappers left his father road side after beating him.
The residents of Shikarpur demanded the higher authorities to take serious notice of the lawlessness in Shikarpur so that people of Shikarpur could take sigh of relief.
