513 vaccinators working under the Sindh Health Department have been deprived of their monthly salaries for the last six months owing to bureaucratic delays, sources told PPI on Sunday.

As many as 541 vaccinators were appointed on

13th July 2018 out of which 513 joined duties. All vaccinators have not been paid their monthly salaries since their joining due to bureaucratic hurdles and utter negligence.

The authorities concerned had promised vaccinators that their salaries would be released within two months after joining but this was not done.

The vaccinators are regularly visiting concerned District Health Officers for release of their six-month salaries. The vaccinators were extremely disturbed over the non- payment of salaries.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has kept health department among his top priorities but such an act of salary delay shows a deep negativity which needs to be overcome.
