Pakistan's largest IT Park approved in Islamabad under SIFC
ISLAMABAD, (NNI): The establishment of Pakistan's largest Information Technology (IT) Park in Islamabad has been approved under the auspices of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
The IT Park will be established in G-10 sector of the federal capital on an area of 3.3. acres. It is a significant milestone for Pakistan's Tech Land Scape, which will provide unprecedented opportunities for innovation and development.
This groundbreaking project, undertaken through a public-private partnership, is set to cater to approximately six thousand freelancers, equipping them with state-of-the-art facilities to improve the nation's economy through e-services.
The primary objective of the IT Park is to foster an environment conducive to creativity and collaboration within the IT industry, thereby stimulating innovation and growth. The state-run Pakistan Television News channel on Monday reported that negotiations are already underway with key stakeholders such as Pakistan Software Export Board and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication to ensure the successful execution of the IT Park project.
These collaborative efforts underscore the government's commitment to nurturing a conducive environment for technological innovation and entrepreneurship, positioning Pakistan as a regional leader in the digital arena.
