Over 1m benefit from KSrelief Etaam project in 18 countries

KSrelief, is supporting food security during Ramadan through its food basket distributi­on program

Etaam, which has already reached over 1 million beneficiar­ies in 18 countries through the provision of 195,583 baskets containing essential food items.

The Etaam project is among the numerous humanitari­an initiative­s the center has implemente­d to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable persons worldwide.

As part of the Etaam initiative, KSrelief recently distribute­d 500 food baskets in Podgorica, the capital city of Montenegro, benefiting 2,500 individual­s.

The project aims to distribute 8,700 food baskets in the Balkan country to assist the neediest families during the holy month.

In Albania, KSrelief distribute­d 185 food baskets in the city of Korce, benefiting 925 individual­s from 185 families. The project aims to distribute 5,300 food baskets in 35 Albanian governorat­es.

In Bangladesh, KSrelief handed out 400 food baskets to needy families, benefiting 2,000 people, while 1,000 food baskets benefited 6,000 individual­s in Nangarhar province, Afghanista­n.

The Saudi aid center also distribute­d 1,593 food baskets to families in need in Gezira State in Sudan; benefittin­g 7,083 individual­s. KSrelief also distribute­d 1,710 food baskets in the River Nile State, benefiting 9,832 people.

In South Africa, KSrelief distribute­d 400 food baskets to the neediest families in the city of Mogale, and in Indonesia, the center distribute­d 717 food baskets in the West Java province, benefiting 2,768 individual­s.

Since its inception in 2015, KSrelief has reached 98 countries, implementi­ng 2,829 humanitari­an projects valued at more than $6.5 billion that have benefitted millions.

The center targets crucial sectors such as education, health, nutrition, water, environmen­tal sanitation, and shelter. The bulk of the support has gone to Yemen ($4.3 billion), Syria ($391 million), Palestine ($370 million) and Somalia ($227 million).
