Imran Khan's sister, Brig (R) Mushtaq and other PTI leaders booked in another case

RAWALPINDI, (NNI): An FIR was registered against important leaders including Pakistan Tehreeke-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan for violating law and order during a protest in Rawalpindi.

The PTI leaders alleged that they demonstrated while organizing a prayer ceremony for the party's arrested leaders and blocked the roads.

The FIR under the provisions of MPA and Pakistan Criminal Code (PCC) was registered in the complaint of SHO Sub-Inspector Sajjad Ahmed of Rawalpindi Police Station.

In the FIR, Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan, Senator Seemi Zaidi, Brigadier Retired Mushtaq Ahmed, Colonel Retired Ajmal Saber Raja, Major Retired Iqbal Khattak, Raja Usman Tiger, Ziyad Khaliq Kayani, Chaudhry Mir Afzal, Shaukat Basra, Tariq Aziz Bhatti, Niazullah Niazi, Shehryar Riaz, Tanveer Aslam, Seemabia Tahir, and Asma Qadeer have been named accused.

As per the text of the FIR, the accused blocked the road and chanted slogans in front of 15. The accused were asked several times to open the road and restore the traffic but no viel. They also protested in front of the press club, resisted the government officials by blocking the road, and shouted slogans through the loudspeaker.

Separately, an FIR against PTI leaders including Dawood Shah Kakar, Nur Khan Khilji, Raheem Kakar, Akram Khan and Khadam Hussain Wardag was registered for holding a protest rally without permission in Quetta.

According to the channel, the FIR was registered on the ground of violation of the law on the complaint of SHO Police Station Civil Lines Quetta. Pertinent to mention that PTI held rally in Quetta on last Wednesday to show solidarity with the six judges of Islamabad High Court who had written a letter to the CJP Qazi Faez Isa and complained of “meddling” by intelligence agencies in judicial matters.
