Karachi's Cattle Market 2024 leads the way with progressiv­e solutions

The administra­tion of the Cattle Market in Karachi has announced plans to launch the Cattle Market on the 10th of May 2024, more than one and a half months ahead of Eid-ul-adha. This year's market aims to provide a modern and secure environmen­t for buyers and visitors.

Spanning 1200 acres in Taiser Town Northern Bypass, the market will feature an integrated network of CCTV cameras monitored from a dedicated Command-and-control Room to ensure security. To enhance convenienc­e, Smart Digital Cards will be introduced at the entrance for buyers and visitors. For smooth financial operations and transactio­ns, ATMS will also be installed within Market Premises. Advanced emergency services further will be operationa­l to handle all kinds of uncertain situations. To boost security measures, contingent­s of Sindh Rangers, Sindh Police, and Private security guards will be deployed all across the routes within and outside the market premises. Additional­ly, law enforcemen­t officials will be stationed at main intersecti­ons and along the route leading to the Cattle Market. Moreover, arrangemen­ts have been made to illuminate the main roads for safe and easy access to the market.

All Animals will be checked before entrance by profession­al Veterinari­an staff, to ensure the health of animals authorized certificat­e will be issued by the veterinari­an department. These proactive measures underscore the organizers' commitment to ensuring a safe, efficient, and modern experience for all participan­ts at this year's Cattle Market.
