Chairman, Kings International
Anwar Maqsood is not only a true entertainer but also a very good human being. The man possesses extraordinary and versatile talents. He is an indefatigable writer of TV and stage plays, a gifted master of ceremonies whose one-liners are pieces of literature in themselves and an artist with a great aesthetic sense that is depicted in his paintings. There must be so many other talents hidden in his personality that his admirers have not discovered yet. I personally experienced his humaneness when I requested him to appear briefly in a documentary I was making on poor children. He eagerly welcomed me and the film crew at his residence, entertained us to a scrumptious tea and then gave four or five separate takes for the film, without of course charging a penny. At Rotary’s polio jingle $O 1ADAM HE QUOTED h!LL THE CHILDREN OF our country are our collective responsibility. These children are your children, they are my children. Two drops of polio vaccine, every child, every time. This is our expression of care and love for them.” I have great respect and appreciation for Anwar Maqsood.
