Kyrgyz is forbearer & harbinger of regional countries: Erik
ISLAMABAD: Embassy of Kyrgyz Republic in collaboration with Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies organized a Seminar on "The Origins of Kyrgyz Statehood and Diplomacy". Speaking on the Occasion Erik Beishembiev, Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic to Islamabad highlighted the glorious historical past of the Kyrgyzstan as a leading nation amongst the other Central Asian Republics, says a Press release.
Having the chairmanship of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, one of the largest and influential grouping of regional countries of which Pakistan is the member, Kyrgyz Republic is the forbearer and harbinger of regional peace and stability through its stable economic progress, democratic norms and futuristic outlook.
While sharing the historical linkages to the modern state of Kyrgyz republic, Ambassador has shared indepth information linking history with the modern state of Kyrgyz republic. Over the years, a steady balance has been achieved amongst the pillars of the government, public administration system.
It was also highlighted during the seminar that the visionary leadership of the country has attained stable foundation for a competitive, multi-party parliamentary and accountable government.
Apart from having steady peaceful country at the internal level, it has positive, responsible and dynamic diplomatic outlook with having an independent foreign policy towards the region and at the global level.
Ambassador's talk was followed by two excellent documentaries about the country. The seminar was organized for raising awareness of Kyrgyzstan's Stability through diplomacy and freedom of its statehood amongst students, researchers, faculty members, media persons and members of the civil society.
Dr Mujeeb Afzal, Associate Professor School of politics and International Relations, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad and Ms. Saadia Saif Niazi, Lecturer Department of International Relations, National University of Modern Languages Islamabad were among the speakers shed light on the academic perspective of the during the discussion.
The event was attended by the Ambassadors, Diplomats, media persons, students, faculty members from different academic institutions having keen interest in the subject has also participated. Ms. Farhat Asif Founder President Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies facilitated the forum for the speakers.
