Zardari cannot escape accountability: Zaman

The Financial Daily - - NATIONAL -

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi President Khurrum Sher Zaman visited Urdu Bazar and expressed his distress on the notices issued by KMC to vacate the shops and stated that this is not illegal possession.

This is a market built by KMC itself. PTI Leadership cannot sit quiet on this cruelty and injustice.

Sher Zaman stated, "You are making people unemployed in the guise of court orders. We will raise our voice in the Sindh Assembly and every forum. My statement makes the Mayor Karachi defamed while he has no fame.

Mayor Karachi sent me a notice of Rs. 500 million (50 crore). You demolished the shops while you could increase the rent of the shops instead. Mayor Karachi and Sindh Government both together made the entire Sindh look ugly."

He added, "We can see a joke on the name of schools where students exist and on the other side there are schools without staff. No clean water, air is unhealthy and people are dying due to poisoning in their diet. Omni Group looted the public money and there is no example in the history of such corruption.

Omni Group's mastermind Asif Ali Zardari cannot escape from accountability. Today on 9th of January, I am going to Islamabad where we will meet the central leadership of PTI. We will talk to senior leadership about Asif Ali Zardari Case. On 10th of January, there is a hearing of the case against Asif Ali Zardari."

"People will receive some good news soon. The National Assembly seat of Asif Ali Zardari is in danger due to the crime of hiding his assets. We request the PPP leaders to advise Asif Ali Zardari to face his cases instead of criticizing PTI," the PTI Karachi President said.

Khurrum Sher Zaman stated, "PTI will prove itself better in the upcoming byeelection of PS-94. The opposition will fall to the ground and PTI will be the victor." - NNI
