3G, 4G ser­vice to be launched across Azad Kash­mir

MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kash­mir govern­ment has de­cided to launch 3G and 4G ser­vice across AJK with spe­cial fo­cus on far flung and ar­eas ad­ja­cent to the Line of Con­trol to pro­vide speedy in­ter­net ser­vice to the peo­ple. The de­ci­sion was taken in a meet­ing of the In­for­ma­tion Tech­nol­ogy Board with Prime Min­is­ter Raja Fa­rooq Haider Khan in the chair. The meet­ing de­cided to in­ter­link district of­fices through in­ter­net to pro­mote E-gov­er­nance.

Raja Fa­rooq Haider Khan di­rected the con­cerned au­thor­i­ties to in­ter­link all cen­tral and district of­fices on the pat­tern of Pun­jab govern­ment to save pre­cious time of peo­ple. He also di­rected to make ar­range­ments for video con­fer­ences at Deputy Com­mis­sioner and Tehsil of­fices. On this oc­ca­sion, Di­rec­tor Gen­eral In­for­ma­tion Tech­nol­ogy Board briefed the meet­ing about E-gov­er­nance in the state.
