What better way to put a smile on a child’s face than with a vitamin-packed jelly dessert?

INGREDIENT­S

3 guavas peeled and chopped 3 glasses water

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar ¾ cup sugar

2 limes juiced

METHOD

Place all the ingredient­s in a saucepan. Bring to the boil and reduce the heat. Allow the mixture to simmer for 30 minutes. Then pour the liquid through a sieve to remove the seeds and press down on any solids to obtain all the juices. Return the mixture to boiling point and then allow it to simmer until it thickens. Let the concoction cool and refrigerat­e until use.
