A for­mer mar­ket­ing ex­ec­u­tive of Tai­wan Leisure Farms De­vel­op­ment As­so­ci­a­tion (TLFDA) has given up his po­si­tion to be on his own. He is Leo Fang, who was ac­tive in invit­ing me­dia peo­ple from the Philip­pines to visit Tai­wan leisure farms. He is now run­ning his own com­pany in his na­tive Yi­lan County.

His com­pany com­bines mu­sic and agri­cul­ture which is why he chose the name “Mu­sic Rice Agri-Mar­ket­ing Stu­dio.” On July 4, he was in Manila where he talked about the nat­u­ral at­trac­tions for tourists in Yi­lan dur­ing a tourism work­shop at the Di­a­mond Ho­tel. He also vis­ited the Costales Na­ture Farms in Ma­jay­jay, La­guna.

Leo, whose Chi­nese name is Fang Tzu-Wei, is an ad­vo­cate of en­vi­ron­ment-friendly farm­ing. He is a food and agri­cul­ture ed­u­ca­tion in­struc­tor, is en­gaged in vil­lage re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion and or­ga­nizer of Young Farm­ers As­so­ci­a­tion.

Leo can be con­sulted for Agri­tour Plan­ning for vis­its to Tai­wan Leisure Farms and Vil­lages in Ja­pan. He also or­ga­nizes study tours in Agri­cul­ture, Cul­ture and Lan­guages.
