Animal Scene - - COVER STORY -

No one is sure how the Brittany came about, but the popular theory is that it’s a cross between an orange and white Setter and a Welsh Springer Spaniel Brittanies are generally happy, energetic dogs, though they are also sensitive and can be stressed by loud noises or by stressed-out owners! Black Brittanies are not recognized in Canada, though the color is recognized everywhere else. The Brittany’s intelligence and athleticism means that it needs constant physical activity and mental stimulation. When bored, the Brittany can become destructive and neurotic. This can be curbed with proper training and daily exercise.
