Staged annually at Victory Mall, Monumento, Boa Keepers Philippines (BKP) celebrated their sixth year of showcasing various exotic animals and promoting responsible animal keeping. Despite the gloomy and rainy weather, a lot of enthusiasts attended the event.

It was an exciting and fun-filled affair, especially for families who chose to celebrate Father’s Day by joining the event. Fathers received free raffle tickets and prizes.

Contests gave the hobbyists an opportunity to showcase various reptiles, such as Ball Pythons, Iguanas, Leopard Geckos, and Bearded Dragons. BKP continues to evolve as more groups join them to share exotic creatures. They aim to promote the legalization of animal keeping, with help from the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources (DENR-NCR).

The event was made possible with the help of exhibitors: Zoomed PH, Congo Charlie, PC Exotics, Majestic Balls, Rodeo Club PH, Geizcrylics, Guinea Pig Lovers, Majestic Wings, Philippine Hamster Owners Society, Exotic Feeders PH, Philippine Arachnid Club (PAC), Reptilesky Percell Pets Zone, Leopard Gecko Junkies, Digipets, DENRNCR, and MYT’S Clothing.

The occasion provided opportunities to meet and mingle among new groups and participants. BKP promises to be bigger and stronger with more groups, with new exotic animals to showcase in the coming years.
