Already on their seventh year, Pet Express invited several animal experts to hold an educational forum through Pet X Talks, their own version of Ted Talks.

Royal Canin introduced two tiny canines to the audience: the elegant Yorkshire Terrier and the mighty Chihuahua. They talked about their traits and how dog parents should care for them.

Jeng Mamiit from Philippine Animal Welfare Society talked about “Professor Dog” and introduced Literacy and Education Assistance Dogs, a volunteer group that educates families about the dogs they share their home with. Jojo Isorena, president of Betterdog

for Ezydog, talked about canine life and social skills, which included a three-level assessment for dog lovers, to demonstrate real-life dog skills and underscore the importance of basic pet care and handling.

Jester Ong Chuan, international all-breed judge for the Asian Kennel Club Union of the Philippines, Inc., tackled time management when caring for pets. His tips included developing a routine for pets as predictable schedules meant less stress for them.

Celebrity model and former Pinoy Big Brother grand winner Daniel Matsunaga brought his three-year-old Alaskan Malamute, Julie, to share how he lived his life with dogs.
