Humans and their animal companions had fun looking their scariest Halloween costumes at the Petrifying Halloween Party at SM City East Ortigas.
Organized by Doodles Paw Couture, the party gave pet owners and their animal companions the chance to dress up in tandem Halloween getups. A participant wearing her Maleficentinspired costume immediately became a crowd favorite after she walked down the runway with her cute canine companion.
A Pomeranian named Candy and her human KC Katindig were hailed the champion of the costume contest. Poodle Tinkerbelle, accompanied by Karen Bernards; and chihuahua Giro, together with Adrian Stephen Cabuhat, were first and second runners-up.
Tintin, a Shih Tzu accompanied by Reniza Perlas, was Ganador’s Pet Choice; Vanilla, a mixed Persian escorted by Shirly Moquete, was Sparkbon’s Pet of Choice.
The contest winners received SM gift certificates and prizes from sponsors, such as Sparkbon Pet Grooming Accessories, Chateau Royale Hotel Resort and Spa, and Ganador Philippines.
Furmom Reniza Perlas and Tintin (top) are scary-good in their Sorcerer get-up, while a scary clown and a companion animal (bottom) give audiences the creeps, all in the name of fun.
