Katropa, lagas sa Kings

Nadama ng Katropa ang lupit at determinasyon ng Kings na maidepensa ang korona sa dominanteng 121- 94 panalo nitong Lunes sa Game 1 ng kanilang best-of-five seme-final duel sa PBA Governors’ Cup sa Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Isang malupit na paghihiganti rin ang ipinadama ng Kings sa Katropa na tumalo sa kanila sa 29 puntos na bentahe sa elimination round.

“They beat us up in the elims and we got them today, so Game Two is going to be exciting,” pahayag ni Gin Kings coach Tim Cone.

“On one hand, we’re happy we played like this. On other hand, we just filled their bag with a whole lot of motivation.”

Nakatakda ang Game Two ngayon sa Batangas City.

Hataw si Justine Brownlee sa naiskor na team-high 21 puntos, kabilang ang 15 sa final period, bukod sa walong boards, limang assists, tatlong steals, at isang block.

Nag-ambag si Joe Devance ng 19 puntos, habang kumana si Greg Slaughter ng 16 puntos, pitong rebounds at limang assists para sa Kings.
