11,000 pa Totokhangin ng PNP

Inilabas na kahapon ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang listahan nito ng aabot sa 11,000 drug personalities na puntirya ng pinaigting na “Oplan Tokhang” operations ng pulisya.

Sa isang press conference, tinukoy ni PNP deputy spokesperson Supt. Vimelle Madrid ang nasabing listahan na pormal na iniharap sa Directorate for Intelligence (DI) nitong Huwebes.

Umaasa rin siya na madadagdagan pa ang bilang na ito sa susunod na mga buwan.

“We are conducting continuous validation and we found out that there are surrenderers who are not included in our list. They are not in the BADAC’s (Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council) list but we are welcoming them and since they voluntarily surrendered, they will be accounted for,” sabi ni Madrid.

Saklaw, aniya, ng naturang bilang ang lahat ng level, mula sa drug personalities sa mga lansangan hanggang sa HVTs (highvalue targets).

Matatandaang inihayag ni Pangulong Duterte na aabot umano sa tatlong milyon ang drug addict sa bansa.

Gayunman, tiniyak ni Madrid na magsasagawa pa rin ang PNP ng validation sa drug watchlist nito.

“We have to check it thoroughly because there might be cases where a person is included by the barangay captain in the drug list, only to find out that the baranggay official is just holding a grudge against that person. We have to be careful and there’s a process. From the BADAC’s list, it will go up to the COP (chief of police), then PD (provincial director), RD (regional director) and then to the DI (Directorate for Intelligence),” paliwanag niya.

Ipinaalaala pa rin ni Madrid na “hindi na madugo” ang bagong Tokhang simula nang ilunsad ito muli.

Simula Enero 29 hanggang hatinggabi ng Pebrero 8 ay nasa

1,573 drug suspect na ang boluntaryong sumuko sa pulisya.
