R37- M SAF allowance, ibinalik sa PNP

Kinumpirma kahapon ni outgoing PNP chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa na ibinalik ni dating Special Action Force (SAF) budget officer Senior Superintendent Andre Dizon ang P37 milyong subsistence allowance ng mga SAF commandos.

Kasabay nito, sinabi ni Dela Rosa inamin sa kanya ni dating SAF head Director Benjamin Lusad na hindi nito natutukan nang husto ang problema sa subsistence allowance ng mga commando dahil mas naging abala siya sa mga operational matters sa field.

Ayon pa umano kay Lusad, hindi nawawala ang pondo sa halip ay hindi lamang naibigay sa mga pulis.

Ayon naman sa hepe ng SAF, si Police Director Noli Talino, P37 milyon lamang ang isinauli ng SAF dahil hindi pa malinaw kung P60 milyon ang kabuuang halaga ng allowance na umano’y hindi naibigay sa mga pulis.

Kaugnay nito, bubusisiin ni Senador Panfilo Lacson ang ‘ di naibigay na subsistence allowance.

Sa kanyang Senate Resolution 712, hiniling ni Lacson sa Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs na imbestigahan ang nabanggit na anomalya.

“We cannot allow, yet again, another injustice to be committed against our heroes in uniform who are in the forefront of our fight against the ills of terrorism and criminality, lest we risk demoralization within their ranks. Thus the need to probe into the said allegations,” pahayag ni Lacson.
