Airforce, sama rin sa PNP Chess Cup

NAKATAKDANG hamunin ng Philippine Airforce chess team ang magwawagi sa pagitan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) chess team at Philippine Army Chess Team sa pagtulak ngayon ng Philippine Chess Blitz Online Face Off Series Team Competition format.

Ito ang ginarantiya kay Tournament organizer Philippine Executive Chess Association (PECA) founding president Atty. Cliburn Anthony A. Orbe ni Airforce team captain National Master Ronald Llavanes.

Malalim ang bench ng Philippine Airforce chess team na bukod kay NM Llavanes ay kasama rin sa magpapakitang gilas sina International Master Barlo Nadera,National Masters Onofre Espiritu, Allan Cantonjos at Raymod Salcedo na tangan ang threepeat title sa AFP-PNP-PCG Olympics.

Sa huling edition noong 2016 na ginanap sa Camp Crame sa Quezon City ay nagkampeon ang Philippine Airforce chess team na sinundan naman ng runner-up place Philippine Army Chess Team at 3rd place naman ang Philippine National Police chess team habang 4th place naman ang Philippine Navy chess team.

Lahat ng blitz chess format game simultaneously na mapapanood ng live at replay sa Facebook at YouTube channel ng National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) sa ganap na 10:00 ng umaga.

Ang PNP chess team ay binubuo nina 1996 Philippine Junior Champion National Master PO2 Rolando Andador, National Master SPO2 Ali Branzuela, PO1 Danilo Tiempo at PO3 Jerry Tolentino kung saan ang aaktong coach ay si SPO3 Jomar Pascua habang ang Philippine Army chess team ay kinabibilangan nina International Masters Ronald Dableo at Joel Pimentel, Kevin Arquero at Alfred Rapanot na nasa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ni coach Ildefonso “Ponching” Datu.
