Melania Trump: Kindness and compassion are very important in life

TYSONS, Va. (AP) — Sinabi ni Melania Trump nitong Linggo na mahalagang katangian sa buhay ang kindness, compassion at positivity.

Tumulong ang First Lady sa pagbubukas ng annual national conference ng SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) sa isang hotel sa labas ng Washington.

Nangyari ito issang linggo matapos siyang bumisita sa U.S.-Mexico border para makita ang epekto sa mga bata ng “zero-tolerance” policy ng kanyang mister laban sa illegal immigration.

Kamakailan ay inunsiyo niya ang kampanyang “Be Best” tungkol sa pagtulong ng matatanda sa mga bata na maging mahuhusay na indibidwal.

“I feel very strongly that it is the job of adults to provide you with the tools you need to become the best you can be in all areas of life,” aniya sa maikling talumpati sa halos 450 bata at matatanda na dumalo sa conference. “That is why I am here today. I believe in SADD’s mission of empowering you to confront the risks and pressures you are challenged with every day.”
