‘Di scripted ang PBB—Direk Lauren Dyogi
SA loob ng 13 years na pamamayagpag sa ere ng Pinoy Big Brother, marami pa ring netizens ang kumukuwestiyon sa kredibilidad ng programa, na pinamamahalaan ni Direk Lauren Dyogi.
Para depensahan ang mga sabi-sabi about the reality TV show, Direk Dyogi uploaded a vlog entry on July 3 wherein he directly addressed those who believe that PBB is scripted.
Direk Lauren used to be the business unit head of Pinoy Big Brother before he was promoted as ABS-CBN’s TV Production head in 2013. Ngayon ay si Raymond Dizon na ang pumalit sa kanya.
Binigyang halimbawa ni Mr. Dyogi how Maine Mendoza tried out for PBB:737, the 2015 edition, na napanalunan nina Miho Nishida at Jimboy Martin.
Makikita pa sa naturang video si Maine who was shown dancing with other aspiring housemates, gaya ni Zeus Collins, who was also in the same batch when Maine auditioned. Hindi rin pinalad si Zeus that time, but he’s currently part of the Hashtags all-male group ng It’s Showtime.
“Nanghinayang ako kay Maine pero without Alden ( Richards), we don’t know if Maine will work sa PBB lang. Eh, nag-work ‘yung Maine and Alden sa Eat Bulaga,” pag-amin ni Direk Lauren.
Si Alden Richards ang other half ng phenomenal AlDub love team na nagpasikat kay Maine.
Their split-screen romance started on Eat Bulaga on July 16, 2015, the same year when Maine auditioned for PBB.
Dahil sumikat si Maine because of her connection with Alden, naniniwala si Direk Lauren na kapalaran nito ang makatagpo ng kalove team sa GMA-7, in the person of Alden.
“’Yun ang kapalaran niya. y Hindi y yun kawalan sa amin. Hindi talaga alaga kami ang tamang paraan para ra sa kasikatan niya,” sabi ni Direk Lauren. “I’m very, very happy for or Maine.”
How did Maine ine end up auditioning for PBB? B?

Given the long and tedious process of conducting auditions, Direk Lauren pointed out, “Mahirap talaga humanap ng housemate.”
In the description of his video, Direk Lauren wrote: “There have been a lot of comments about PBB being scripted, na may managers or backers na. (Na) Useless ang Starhunt auditions, and I think these are unfair statements. This vlog features a conversation between me and Raymond about these topics and more.
“We also talk about Joshua Garcia, Jameson Blake, Maymay, Edward, Kim Chiu and other controversial people and issues.
“Sa mga nagsasabi na scripted ang PBB, it’s an unfair statement,” ani Direk Lauren. “Masakit din ‘yong mga comments and I think a lot of the comments, a lot of them are unfair. Hindi minsan nakikita ‘yong oras behind the scenes bago magaudition, ‘yong oras at ‘yong energy at ‘yong effort na inuukol ng mga tao namin.
“Sa mga nagsasabi na scripted ang PBB, sobrang galing naman namin as a director and writer para ma-script namin na magkakagustuhan ang mga tao na ito. Hindi namin maiisip ang mga bagay na ‘yan. Nalalaman na lang namin ‘yan sa unang araw na magtagpo-tagpo ang mga housemates.”
