Panununog ng bag, child abuse — DepEd

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay - Hindi pinalampas ng mga opisyal ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang insidente ng panununog sa mga bag ng mga estudyante sa Camarines Sur, kamakailan.

Sa pahayag ng DepEd regional office, iniimbestigahan na nito ang insidente upang panagutin ang mga nasa likod nito.

Ayon kay DepEd-Bicol regional director Gilbert Sadsad, isasalang nila sa imbestigasyon ang responsable sa insidente na isang administrator na siyang guro’t may-ari ng Bicol Central Academy sa Libmanan, Camarines Sur.

Inamin ni Sadsad na nalulungkot at dismayado siya sa insidente.

"There was a clear manifestation of child abuse and a violation of our child protection policy. While we cannot sanction the offending person because he is under the jurisdiction of the authorities of a private school, we will be reviewing our policies if we can provide sanctions in terms of possible revocation of the school's permit to operate and other benefits provided by the government. For child abuse we will recommend to certain group or agency like dswd for a criminal charges, but this is still to be studied", sabi pa ni Sadsad.

Nitong nakaraang Sabado, nagviral sa social media ang pagsunog sa mga bag at iba pang kagamitan ng mga estudyante ng senior high school.

Nauna nang idinahilan na nilabag ng mga estudyante ang 'nobag policy' na ipinaiiral ng paaralan.
