Mga sundalo mamamatay kakahintay kay Sison— Duterte

Minaliit ni Pangulong Duterte ang kondisyon ni Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founder Joma Sison at banta ng New People’s Army (NPA), sinabing maraming Pilipinong sundalo ang mamamatay sa paghihintay na makipaglaban sa kanya si Sison.

Ipinahayag ito ng Pangulo ilang araw matapos sabihin ni Sison nitong Lunes na ang Pangulo ay comatose, isang alegasyon na pinabulaanan mismo ni Pangulong Duterte noong araw ding iyon.

Sa kanyang sa talumpati sa Davao City, muling sinabi ni Duterte na si Sison ay hindi kinayang talunin ang barangay, paano pa ang buong bansa.

“’Di man pud ninyo matumba nang gobyerno. Di gani mo makagunit og usa ka barangay y***,” sabi ni Duterte nitong Huwebes ng gabi.

“You’ll fight against me? Look at my army, doing nothing but wait for… They want war because if there is none, they’ll die of boredom,” dagdag niya.

“They will get sick with arthritis, gout, and start to walk with a limp. Pero ang karamihan sundalo ko pati pulis ang --- especially sundalo, it’s the abdominal --- it’s either hepatitis, cirrhosis” pagpapatuloy niya.

Sinabi ni Duterte na ang NPA ay nagkakasakit din ng naturang karamdaman.

“Same with you, you have the similar illnesses with the soldiers because you go there and eat food from pots that are not yours. You extort from the small people and if they refuse to share, you kill them,” sambit ng Pangulo.

Hinikayat ni Duterte ang mga sumukong NPA na bumalik sa bundok at kumbinsehin ang iba pa na umunlad na ang bansa.

“I will let you go back to the mountains tomorrow. Tell your comrades. Ask them what else they need because progress is already here,” pahayag ni Duterte.

“Do not just sit there, go back and tell your comrades to come down so you can talk to Duterte,” dagdag niya.

Sinabihan din niya ang mga ito na huwag maniwala kay Sison.

“Sison’s bible is his brain. Wala --don’t believe him. He’s old. Look at him now, instead of talking about an ideology, if there is one at all, he’s saying that I’m comatose, that I’m dead,” ayon kay Duterte.

“Do you think that a person who always extorts and kills will improve their lot in life? Is there no karma?” tanong niya.
