MILO Little Olympics sa Marikina

HIGIT sa limang libong kabataang estudyante­ng atleta mula sa mga paaralang elementary­a at sekondarya mula National Capital Region at South Luzon ang pumarada para sa 2018 MILO Little Olympics nitong Sabado sa Marikina Sports Center sa Marikina City.

Ayon kay event organizer Prof. Robert Milton Calo ng Mc Roberts Sports Academy, bibigyang ningning ang kaganapan sa pagdalo ng MILO executives, Marikina Local Government Units, opisyal ng Department of Education at ang buong crowd na pupuno sa MSC sa magarbong ceremony.

Kinumpirma rin ni Calo ang inklusyon ng larong handball na pagtutungg­alian sa naturang grassroot sports na handog ng Nestle Philippine­s.

Bukod sa handball, ang iba pang discipline­s na pagtutungg­alian sa Little Olympics ay arnis, athletics, badminton, basketball, chess, football, futsal, gymnastics, karatedo, scrabble, sepak takraw, swimming, table tennis, taewondo,tennis at volleyball.

Magdedepen­sa ng kanilang titulo ang Concepcion Elementary School sa Marikina[elementery] at San Beda[secondary].

Buong galak namang tinanggap ni Milo Sports Executive Lester Castillo ang karagdagan­g event sa taunang yugto ng Little Olympics.

“Milo Little Olympics is getting bigger in term of expansion ang participat­ion this year.This annual youth competitio­n aims to emphiaize Milo’s unwavering support commitment to the country in developing not only athleticis­m but also menthal discipline among student athletes who will be next generation of sports heroes,” sambit ni Milo Brand Executive Lester Castillo.
