“It took a 3-hour drive from Manila, 45-minute hike on mud and limatik infested path to reach the planting site. We passed through a stream and also had to cross through a 2-piece log. It was an exciting experience for us,” ayon sa grupo.
Pagkatapos magtanim, iginawad ang certificate of appreciation kay Kim Nam Joon at sa King Nam Joon PH na nilagdaan ni Ofelia Bakker-Mananquil, pangulo ng Fostering Education & Environment for Development (FEED), at ng forester na si Reynaldo Lorida ng University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB).
“We hereby acknowledge that Kim Nam Joon has helped keep our planet and people healthy by taking climate action through FEED’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Patrons Program, as part of the ‘Living Legacy: Plant a Tree, FEED our Future’ initiative – in partnership with King Namjoon PH and in collaboration with the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB), planting indigenous Philippine tree species, including three years maintenance, targeting carbon capture at the UPLB Laguna-Quezon Land Grant site, in Siniloan, Laguna, on September 9th, 2018,” saad sa certificate.
