‘Kris has been alleging that my brother stole multi-millions of pesos’
SA naging pahayag ni Atty. Jesus Falcis III sa mga nakausap niyang TV reporters bago pinanumpaan ni Kris Aquino ang reklamo niya sa harap ni Mandaluyong Senior Assistant City Prosecutor Lourdes Javelosa-Indunan, nabanggit ng abogado na qualified theft ang isinampa ni Kris sa kuya niyang si Nicardo ‘Nicko’ Falcis II hinggil sa sinasabing unauthorized na paggamit ng huli sa KCAP credit card bilang supplementary card holder.
Umabot sa mahigit P1.27 milyon ang halagang umano’y sinasabing ginastos ni Nicko nang wala umanong pahintulot.
“I have not seen any evidence actually. What evidence did she (Kris) present? Yes, but where is their agreement? That has not been shown yet—what they can do, and what is
authorized, and what’s the practice sinabi ni Atty. Jesus sa panayam sa kanya ng PEP.
“The credit-card bills go to her not my brother. There’s monthly accounting. How can she say she does not know the charges?
“The reality is this is from what I know, ha—there are two credit cards. Under the name of KCAP, one nakalagay Nicardo Falcis II; the other is Kristina Bernadette Aquino.
“So, if my brother uses Nicardo Falcis II, it does not mean it is unauthorized Because ang practice din nila when they went to the bank to open that account, is that my brother can charge under his own name.
“But, ultimately (everything) chargeable to KCAP. So, my point there is Kris knows na their practice is, if my brother has a charge that is purely personal, ‘in the meantime, it’s okay but pay me later’.
“So, I don’t know why she's filing these cases. My brother again, will be the one to say why she’s filing these cases—in retaliation, out of spite, whatever.
“Kris is only talking of P1.2M in the court, but in all of her social media. she’s been talking more than that. She's been alleging that my brother stole multi-millions of pesos. For a person like her, kaya palang gawin ‘yun? Na
may Sigfrid Fortun and Kim Henares as your personal accountant?
“How can my brother do that? So, walang kinaso. Ang kinaso, ultimately, credit-card charge? It’s totally ridiculous!”
Samantala, marami ang nagtatanong kung bakit si Atty. Jesus Falcis ang nagsasalita para ipagtanggol ang kuya niyang si Nicko. May komunikasyon naman ang magkapatid kahit nasa ibang bansa ngayon si Nicko, bakit hindi kunan ni Atty. Jesus ng official statement ang kuya niya at iyon ang ipamudmod niya sa media?
Nabanggit pa ni Atty. Jesus na dalawang beses na nagkita sina Kris at Nicko para pag-usapan ang problema, pero base sa nalaman namin ay isang beses lang sila nagkita ng dating KCAP managing director, nitong Setyembre 18 lang.
Dahil nitong Setyembre 19 ay sina Rochelle at Alvin ang nakipagkita kay Nicko dahil wala sa bahay nila si Kris nang mga sandaling iyon.
Base rin sa aming source ay hindi pa nagkikita, nagkakilala o nagkakausap sina Kris at Atty. Jesus.
Anyway, sa Nobyembre 26 ang susunod na hearing ng reklamo ni Kris laban kay Nicko sa Mandaluyong Prosecutor’s Office.
Muling binanggit ni Prosecutor Javelosa-Indunan na sa December 13 ay “submitted for resolution” na ang reklamo ni Kris laban kay Nicko.
