PECA National Executive chess tilt
IPINAHAYAG kahapon nina Martin "Binky" Gaticales at Dr. Jenny Mayor ang pagdaraos ng Season 2 ng 2019 Philippine Executive Chess Association (PECA) National Executives Grand Prix event na opisyal ng bubuksan ang 1st leg sa Enero 26, 2019 na gaganapin sa Alphaland Makati Place sa Malugay St. malapit sa Ayala Avenue sa Makati City.
"There will be 2 divisions this year, the Open (2000 & above rating) & the Challengers (1999 & below as well as the Unrateds)." sabi nina Gaticales at Mayor, dalawa sa prime movers ng PECA.
"Players who are titled & qualified are welcome to join. Newcomers are advised to send their application form at once so that the new 5 - man Screening Committee panel can evaluate if they are qualified or not. Many players from Season 1 are either trimmed down or are still under evaluation pending their submission of relevant papers confirming their qualification. We will be much more stricter this time," giit pa nina Gaticales at Mayor.
"There will be 15 legs that will be dominated by the regional or provincial events. Metro Manila players are advised to participate in as many legs as they can as only 5 legs will be conducted in the National Capital Region area, " paliwanag pa nina Gaticales at Mayor.
"They need more games to improve their Grand Prix standings thus improving their chance to qualify in the Grand Finals. Four (4) players from each division will qualify every leg. That will be 60 players in 15 legs plus the Top 15 from the Grand Prix standings," huling pananalita nina Gaticales at Mayor.
May seventy five (75) players sa bawat group ang uusad sa Grand Finals sa last week ng November o first week ng December. Ito ay gaganapin sa iconic & world- renowned Boracay island sa Malay, Aklan. Ang Grand Finalists ay tatawaging The 75 Diamond Men ng PECA.
Mas malaking cash prizes ang nakataya sa Grand Finals na ipapatupad ang 9 round Swiss System sa first day at blitz tournament sa lahat ng grand finalists sa 2nd day. Ang magkakampeon sa Open Division ay makakatangap ng National Master's title sa Rapid.
