63 barangay ng N. Cotabato sa BARMM, ipinagdiwang

Sinabi kahapon ni Presidential Peace Adviser Carlito G. Galvez Jr., na ang pagsali ng 63 barangays ng North Cotabato sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) ay isang malaking hakbang sa peace process sa Mindanao.

Ito ang ipinahayag ni Galvez matapos opisyal na iproklama ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) nitong Huwebes ang pagsama ng 63 barangay ng North Cotabato sa bagong BARMM.

“This development is another milestone in the Mindanao peace process as we progress in the implementations of the peace agreements between the government and the Moro fronts,” ani Galvez.

“The conduct of the plebiscite in North Cotabato is one that should be emulated across the country. The entire community of the province showed us how to assert our rights peacefully,” aniya pa.

Binati niya ang mga lokal na lider ng North Cotabato province sa pamumuno ni Governor Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza sa mapayapang plebesito.

Pinasalamatan din niya ang Moro Islamic Liberation Front at Moro National Liberation Front sa diplomatikong pagkumbinse sa mamayan na sumali sa bagong BARMM.

Gayundin si Pangulong Rorigo Duterte, na tinawag niyang “architect of the Bangsamoro Organic Law.”

“I am hopeful that the transition process to the new Bangsamoro autonomous region will be smooth,” idinugtong niya.
