5th Al-Basher Buto Chess sa Cainta

ANG pagdaraos ng 5th Al-Basher Buto Chess Championship 1950 and below Rapid tournament ay tutulak sa Pebrero 25 na gaganapin sa Block 43 Beaver Street, Goldland Village East sa Cainta, Rizal.

Ito ay sanctioned ng National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) na pangangasiwaan ng Chess Arbiter Union of the Philippines (CAUP).

"This is part of our grassroots development program,” sabi ni tournament organizer Bong Buto, ama ni Philippine chess wizard Al-Basher Buto.

"The tournament is open to all non-titled, unrated and regardless players with maximum ratings of 1950 only. Women over rated players are not eligible to play while kiddies under 12 years old and below may join the tournament regardless of ratings, no ratings barrier only with kids and no pooling of prizes." giit pa ni Bong Buto na siya ding founding head ng Gold Land Chess Club.

Giit ni Buto na may cash prizes na naghihintay sa magwawagi kung saan maibubulsa ng magkakampeon ang P2,500 at trophy. May cash prizes din na tig P1,500 at medal at P1,000 at medal sa second hanggang third placers, ayon sa pagkakasunod. May nakalaan din sa fourth hanggang fifth place na tig P500 plus medals. May special prizes din para sa best perfomer sa Top kiddies 12 years old and below (12 and 11 years old only), Top kiddies 10 years old and below (10 and 9 years old only), Top kiddies 8 years old and below (8 and 7 years old only), Top female, Top 55 years old and above at Top Cainta.
