Anti-dengue supplies para sa Army

Pinagkaloo­ban ng Department of Health (DOH) sa CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) ng mga anti-dengue at iba pang vector control supplies ang Military Camp Army Station Hospital, 2nd Infantry Jungle Fighter Division, Philippine Army, Camp Gen. Mateo Capinpin, sa Tanay, Rizal.

Kabilang sa mga ibinigay ng DoH-CALABARZON, bilang bahagi ng kanilang anti-dengue campaign, ang may 150 rolyo ng Olyset nets na nagkakahal­aga ng P1.2 milyon; 500 insecticid­e treated bednets (P222,500); dalawang spray can para sa residual spraying (P28,776); limang kahon ng insecticid­es para sa residual spraying para sa P41,250 at personal protective equipment (P6,800), bukod pa sa long-lasting insecticid­e treated nets na inilagay sa mga window screens at mga kurtina.

“We have included all sectors including military camps in our efforts to lessen and eliminate dengue in the community. We have to ensure everyone including our uniformed personnel are safe and protected against mosquito bites,” ayon pa kay Regional Director Eduardo Janairo.
