“As much as I want to inspire the youth to study hard and to prioritize their education, I hope to also inspire everyone to stop neglecting their mental health for the sake of school. Depression is so common, especially in law school. And yet no one talks about it,”

“So many people suffer in silence, sometimes until it’s too late….. You get over the pain, you get over the challenges but you cannot take back a life.” Pinayuhan din ng beauty queen ang mga estudyante not to resort to a permanent solution or to a temporary problem, at huwag mag-atubiling humingi ng tulong sa ibang tao. Hindi lamang grades at degree ang “only important thing.”

“This talk is for my UP Law family and other law students struggling with their mental health, as well as for the young people of Roxas City, and anyone who needs it.”
