Rick Price at Morissette may duet version ng classic ‘90s ballad
NAKIPAG-TEAM UP ang Australian singer-songwriter at producer Rick Price sa Pinay singer na si Morissette para sa 2020 version ng Heaven Knows.
Binigyan ang classic ballad ng “fuller sound and a more contemporary touch.”
“The original recording of ‘Heaven Knows’ is basically piano and voice only,” pagbabahagi ng award-winning singer. “The new version is a duet and has a full band added with lush strings and background vocals.”
Binigyan din ni Morissette ng naiibang timpla ang classic hit gamit ang kanyang adept and powerful vocals, habang napapanatili ang mensahe ng kanta.
“Working on this track, RP and I kind of agreed that we didn’t want to make the verses predictable, but to keep the chorus singable and heartfelt,”pagbabahagi ni Morissette. “He also allowed me to put my own flavor and twists into the melodies.”
PAIRING MADE IN HEAVEN Inilarawan naman ni Rick ang kanilang collaboration, bilang isang “monumental” dahil pays tribute sa isa sa biggest hits ng kanyang career. “Thankfully my record label Sony Music was able to put me in touch with Morissette,”pagbabahagi nito. “I fell in love with her voice. She made me cry: truly the voice of an angel. Morissette is a wonderfully talented artist and a delight to work with.”
Hindi naman nakalimot si Morrisette na ibalik ang papuri sa singer.

Sa Pilipinas, naging staple adult contemporary smash ang kanta na tumagal nang mahigit 25 years.
Samantala, maging si Rick Price ay hindi makapaniwala kung bakit nananatiling markado ang kanta hanggang sa kasalukuyan.“It’s hard to say why this song has stayed around for so long.
