#NEVERFORGET: Patuloy na magbantay kontra diktadurya

- Leslie Ann G. Aquino

“The young people should be taught in the schools and churches that we should never forget what happened at EDSA, which inspired other countries to do the same - ousting a dictator without shedding blood!” sinabi ni Bastes sa isang panayam.

“Thanks to the sacrifice of Ninoy Aquino, which triggered EDSA! Never again to Marcos and his cohorts!” dagdag niya.

“It should always be ‘never again’ to dictatorship, to absolute authoritarian. As we know the maxim ‘history repeats itself’ we have to be vigilant and to continue to safeguard our hard-earned freedom,” aniya.

“We learned our lessons from those who abused their position and power; those who misused our trust and used their authority for their personal and party’s benefits now we have to speak and show as one people our stand against abusive, corrupt and immoral officials,” dagdag niya.

“What we have shown during those historic days of our solidarity for common good, our unity to save lives and our unified vision of free Philippines must be continued and to be lived for,” sinabi ni Santos.
