Mas mahaba ang post ni direk Tonet: “They say that there’s a particular moment when you just know you want to spend the rest of your life with a person, that s/he’s The One. Maybe the moment he drove seven hours to your house so he can bring you to the airport without getting soaked in the rain. Or the moment you spent a quiet moment on the beach until the sun rose. Or the moment he cancelled all his meetings to be with you at the hospital. I didn’t have any of those moments. Yet I knew, Dan was it.

There was just this peaceful feeling that envelope me whenever I am with him. We don’t fight about the pettiest things anymore- and if you know us, we can fight like three-year-olds fighting over the last piece of candy. I feel safe, I feel protected. There’s an assurance that my secrets and dreams and failures found a sanctuary in him, I don’t ever have to worry. I found a teammate in him- letting me do things on my own but also knows when to help or call me out. It’s just that air of overwhelming love but never suffocating. It embraces me enough for me to feel I am never alone but not too tight that it makes me lose myself. That was when I knew. It wasn’t one moment . It was one moment after another, one feeling after another, that maybe didn’t matter individually but became so strong when they all piled up. It was a maybe that simple question that asked- Do you want to keep this feeling for a long time? When I said yes, that’s when I knew. (Written on June 9, 2019).”
