Turista puwede na ulit sa South Korea

Muling pinahihintulutan ang mga turistang Pilipino na magbiyahe sa South Korea maliban sa ilang mga lugar na tinamaan ng novelcoronavirus, inihayag ng Malacañang kahapon.

Sa bahagyang pag-alis ng gobyerno sa travel ban sa South Korea, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo na ang mga Pilipino na maglalakbay sa South Korea ay dapat pumirma ng isang written declaration tungkol sa mga panganib sa kalusugan ng kanilang paglalakbay sa ibang bansa.

Nabuo ang desisyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) sa meeting pulong sa opisina ng Department of Health nitong Martes.

“The IATF has approved to allow Filipinos to travel to South Korea except to the whole of North Gyeongsang Province, including Daegu City and Cheongdo County, where the virus outbreak is concentrated,” sinabi ni Panelo sa isang pahayag kahapon.

“All Filipinos who intend to visit other parts of South Korea shall execute and sign a declaration, signifying their knowledge and understanding of the risks involved in their trip. A health advisory pamphlet shall likewise be handed out to them upon their departure,” dagdag niya.

Gayunman, patuloy na pinagbabawalan ng gobyero ang mga banyaga mula sa North Gyeongsang na pumasok sa bansa bilang pag-iingat laban sa coronavirus.

“The ban on the entry of foreign nationals arriving from North Gyeongsang Province, including Daegu City and

Cheongdo County, into Philippine territory remains effective,” sinabi ni Panelo.

Gayundin, napagpasyahan ng gobyerno na huwag mag-isyu ng anumang mga bagong paghihigpit sa paglalakbay sa ibang mga bansa sa kabila ng pagtaas ng mga kaso ng coronavirus sa ilang bahagi ng mundo.

“Guided by the Health Security Risk Assessment Matrix, which evaluates the hazard, exposure and context relative to the risks involved, the IATF has also agreed that there are to be no new imposition of travel restrictions or lifting of the same as regards other countries or jurisdictions,” sinabi ni Panelo
