Pia Wurtzbach balik-Indonesia para i-promote ang HIV-testing

BUMISITA ulit si dating Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach sa Indonesia para sa promotion ng kahalagan ng HIV-testing, kasama ng iba pang international beauty queens.

“Back in Jakarta with @ unaids_ap for GWA duties. During my visit here, I will be going to primary health centers and organizations to talk about issues of stigma and discrimination and of course the importance of HIV testing. I will be sharing more about this in my stories so stay tuned for that!” pagbabahagi ni Pia sa Instagram.

Binigyang-diin naman ni Pia na ang HIV testing ay bahagi ng self-love at selfcare. “Always remember: HIV Testing is part of self-love and self-care, as well as caring for your loved ones. It should be seen as a normal health check-up.”

Bumisita rin siya sa Puskesmas Jatinegara, isang comprehensive and integrated primary health center sa Jakarta kung saan niya na-meet ang mga health workers at mga pasyente ng pasilidad.

“It’s quite impressive that Jakarta has high-quality HIV services, even in public primary health centers. After getting tested, you can start ARV treatment immediately. This can all be done for free,” ani Pia.

Ibinahagi rin niya na nagkaroon sila ng isang press conference sa “Ruang Carlo,” ng community-friendly HIV clinic sa St. Carolus Hospital kasama ang UNAIDS doctors at partners, gayundin ang ambassador for Indonesia, Atiqah Hasiholan.

Samantala, naging bahagi rin si Pia ng panel of judges para sa Puteri Indonesia, o mas kilala bilang Miss Universe Indonesia.

“I’m so happy I finally got to experience Puteri Indonesia. This was long overdue! I’ve always loved Indonesia. My very first trip as Miss Universe was to Jakarta & Bali and it was unforgettable. The only time I ever cried because I didn’t want to leave! True story!” pagbabahagi nito.

Hindi rin nakalimutang magpasalamat ng 30-anyos na beauty queen sa mga fans niya sa Indonesia para sa kanilang love and support sa kanyang pageant journey. “And I’ve always felt the love and appreciation of the pageant lovers in Indonesia. Terima kasih. Also very happy that I got to meet so many amazing and inspiring women last night. Our queens And of course congratulations to the winners last night I have to admit, once in a while, it’s nice to go back into pageant mode again photo credits to the owners,” ayon pa kay Pia.
