Bidders sought for repair of helicopter, uniforms
THE PHILIPPINE Coast Guard (PCG) has published an invitation to bid for nine separate projects covering the maintenance and repair of helicopter engines, the supply of sports uniforms, oil, ammunition, among others, that, taken together, are worth P700 million.
The 1st project is for the 12year maintenance inspection and procurement of oil pressure, fuel transmitter, and guide assembly for the PCG’s HELO 1636 ( helicopter). Its approved budget for contract (ABC) is P17.68 million with a delivery schedule of 90 calendar days. Bid documents are worth P25,000.
The 2nd is for the emergency repair of a helicopter engine turbine assembly for the HELO 1636 with an ABC of P7.45 million and a delivery schedule of 30 calendar days. Bid documents are worth P10,000. The 3rd is for the procurement of HELO 1636 fuel spray nozzle with and ABC of P660,000 with a delivery of schedule of 30 calendar days. Bid documents are worth P1,000.
The 4th project is for upgrading a CGBF electrical system with an ABC of P8.67 million and a delivery schedule of 75 calendar days. Bid documents are worth P10,000.
The 5th is for the procurement of athletic uniform with an ABC of P52.68 million with a delivery schedule of 30 calendar days. Bid documents are worth P50,000.
The uniforms are “for the whole Coast Guard,” PCG Spokesperson Armand A. Balilo said in a text message.
The Coast Guard is “looking for a standard uniform for athletics, search and rescue and civil military activities,” he clarified, adding that the uniform covers “shirts, shorts and shoes.”
The 6th project is for the procurement of search and rescue equipment with an ABC of P786,125 with a delivery schedule of 30 calendar days. Bid documents are worth P1,000. Procurement of petroleum oil and lubricants with an ABC of P564.18 million and a delivery schedule of 365 calendar days is the 7th project. Bid documents are worth P75,000.
The 8th project with an ABC of P31.51 million is for the procurement of ammunitions for the record firing of PCG units with a schedule of delivery of 60 calendar days. Bid documents are worth P25,000. The last project is for the procurement of diving equipment with an ABC of P9.37 million and a delivery schedule of 60 calendar days. Bid documents are worth P10,000. —
