Technolux marks 40th year via offering free service

-

AS A FITTING way to celebrate its 40 years in the business, Technolux is offering free service to its customers.

The first 40 callers today (June 15) will be entitled to free labor on the following participating brands that were bought at Technolux: Manitowoc, Taylor, Frymaster, Winterhalter, Convotherm, and Round-up.

“There’s no sale if there’s no service.” This is the straightforward explanation of Roland Verzosa on how Technolux has grown from a small company that supplies laundry and kitchen equipment to hotels in 1975 to becoming the country’s largest importer and distributor of a complete line of foodservice, small wares and laundry equipment today.

Mr. Verzosa currently sits as president at Technolux but his relationship with the company spans three decades.

In the last 40 years, Technolux has opened offices across the country including Metro Manila and in Cebu, Boracay Davao, and Zamboanga. Its growth as a company is marked by many firsts in its industry — the first to have a live demo kitchen, the first to offer nationwide service, and the first to establish a facility called Mall of Kitchens that carries the most extensive line of kitchen and foodservice equipment and merchandise for commercial and household use.

But to be the best in the industry, the company invested heavily on training its people including their engineers and technicians who are the front liners of Technolux.

The company also spent on system software to streamline its operations, put up its own call center facility that take calls from clients 24/7, and deployed technicians on motorcycles as an efficient and fast way to get to their clients. With such synergy in customer service, Technolux boasts of the best response time by any distribution company in the country — a prompt four hours from the time of call within Metro Manila.

At present, Technolux has more than 400 employees and imports some 30 international brands under these categories: foodservice equipment, smallwares, laundry equipment and ingredients and consumables and distributes them to some of the country’s largest restaurants and hotel chains.
