Asked about CEMEX Philippine­s’ future plans, Arcenas shared that the company recently announced its expansion goal of 1.5 million tons of capacity through a US$300 million investment in its Solid Cement Plant in Antipolo City.

“This latest investment shows the company’s continued confidence on the strength of the Philippine economy and a business environmen­t that promotes direct investment into the local economy,” he added.

After almost a score since CEMEX’s investment in the country, the company continues to innovate and evolve to offer only the best building materials in the market despite the challenges of the times. CEMEX is indeed built to be strong. -
