Unionbank receives new ISO certification

-

THE UNION Bank of the Philippines (Unionbank) was recently awarded the newest International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification, making it the first bank in the Philippines to be measured and certified according to the latest international quality standard.

This feat was primarily driven by Unionbank’s Channel Management Center (CMC) which passed the rigorous requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) for the Bank’s other groups — Branch Operations Management (BOM), Central Processing Services (CPS) and Customer Service Group (CSG).

The ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification is a collection of business processes focused on achieving quality policy and quality objectives to meet customer requirements. Unionbank also garnered more than 20 positive observations or commendations given by certifying body TUV Rheinland for best practices, routines and rituals practiced by the UnionBankers.
