Gov’t warns job seekers against exiting through Zamboanga, Tawi-Tawi THE Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur yesterday issued a warning to job seekers who are offered employment abroad and traveling through Zamboanga City or the island province of Tawi-Tawi as exit point from the Philippines. “Being made to exit via Zamboanga or Tawi-Tawi is a sure tell-tale sign of illegal trafficking and should ring alarm bells to job seekers, otherwise, they risk apprehension by Sabah (Malaysia) authorities for unauthorized entry or fall victim to sex and other traffickers along the way,” the embassy said in a statement.
