Voter registration resumes today

REGISTRATION FOR THE Oct. 23, 2017 barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections resumes today with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) anticipating an additional five million voters. “We are expecting three million voters for the barangay elections and additional two million for the Sangguniang Kabataan elections,” Comelec Spokesperson James B. Jimenez said in a statement. There were about 54 million registered voters for the May 2016 national and local elections.
