AAA releases list of exhibits for art criticism prize
THE Ateneo Art Gallery has come up with the list of exhibitions from which participants joining Ateneo Art Awards’ art criticism contest can choose to write about.
The Purita Kalaw-Ledesma Prizes in Art Criticism honors the memory of Purita Kalaw-Ledesma, art patron and founder of the Art Association of the Philippines (AAP).
As one of the main goals of the prize is to get art criticism into the public sphere, two winners will be selected and will be given publication opportunities. The winner of the Purita KalawLedesma Prize — will be awarded a regular column to be published twice a month under the column, “Platforms,” in the Arts & Culture section of the paper. The winner of the Purita Kalaw-Ledesma Prize —
