Southwest provincial bus terminal starts moving to HK Sun Plaza terminal
THE NEW area for the Southwest Interim Provincial Terminal (SWIPT) at the HK Sun Plaza in Pasay City will have its soft opening on May 5, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced yesterday. Around 300 provincial buses with end points in Baclaran, Mall of Asia, Mandaluyong and Cubao will be initially transferred to the new SWIPT site. The current terminal at the Coastal Mall will continue to be operated until all provincial buses from Cavite and Batangas are transferred to the HK Plaza terminal. City buses with Baclaran as their assigned franchised route are also allowed to pass by the HK Sun Plaza for passenger transfers.
