Interbrand bares 2017 Breakthrough Brands
INTERBRAND, the world’s leading global brand consultancy company, lists start-ups and early players in emerging markets that represent the next generation of brands that have become brand winners across a variety of new, emerging and evolving categories, said Nita Claravall, Interbrand’s executive director for the Philippines.
In its Breakthrough Brands report, 40 Breakthrough Brands were selected worldwide, and these were broken into these categories: “The Working Future” focuses on career building and work flow with brands like Slack and General Assembly; “From Life Hacking to Better Living” are brands removing obstacles and solving problems for our everyday lives; “Not So Artificial Intelligence” is a look at brands building new AI tools like 30 Seconds to Fly and Cylance; “Move Me” are brands focused on the future of mobility like Drivy and Ninja Van; “Funding Change” is about financial organizations like Square and Wealth Simple; “Experiences on Demand” are brands that make it easy for us to get what we want, when we want it, like the Clique Media Group and Mikmak.
